Blue Waters Mountain Lodge offers nine distinct rooms, each featuring a different theme or setting. All rooms come with their own private bath, ceiling fan, satellite television, central heat and wireless internet. You can stay in the spacious Music Room, with its antique instruments, or in the French Country Room with its large bay windows, lake views and king-sized bed. Blue Waters Mountain Lodge offers a full range of indoor and outdoor activities. Spend quiet time on the lakeside dock or sit back and enjoy a book by the fireplace. The Lodge keeps a well-stocked library full of books. In the second floor lounge, you'll find games such as pool, darts and backgammon. You can swim in the lake, or find a quiet spot to fish.

Lake Santeetlah and the Surrounding Area
Lake Santeetlah is a 3,000 acre man-made reservoir and is perfect for canoeing, kayaking and fishing. The lake has a variety of fish, inlcuding: smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, walleye and lake trout. It is surrounded by the lush Nantahala National Forest, home to hundreds of miles of hiking trails and endless sightseeing opportunities for the outdoor enthusiast.
The area is a mecca for motorcycle riders, who come to ride the Tail of the Dragon, a hundred mile long stretch of road that has an impressive 318 curves. Riders also enjoy heading out to Deals Gap and US 129, which is a lot like Route 66.
